KUALA LUMPUR, May 14 (Bernama) — Tourism Productivity Nexus (TPN), supported by Malaysia Productivity Corporation (MPC) has officially launched TPN Virtual Advisor Clinic (T-VAC), an online one-to-one consultation service for tourism industry players. The Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture, YB Dato’ Sri Hajah Nancy Shukri graced the official launching ceremony which was done online via video conferencing platform. In attendance are YBhg. Dato’ Abdul Latif Hj Abu Seman, Director General of MPC and YBrs. Encik Uzaidi Udanis, Champion for TPN.
The official launch marks the completion of T-VAC Pilot Project which ran for two weeks since the middle of April 2020. 147 advisory clinics for tourism industry players were conducted by 10 appointed advisors who provide implementable recommendations in the areas of finance, business operation, and industry structure. The overall performance of the advisory clinics indicated 93% customers’ satisfaction as evaluated by 147 companies who attended the sessions.
