KUALA LUMPUR, May 5 (Bernama) — Bank Muamalat Malaysia Berhad (BMMB) will resume operations tomorrow at its Headquarters and its Jalan Melaka Branch in Kuala Lumpur following the Government’s decision to lift the Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO) imposed in the Masjid India area, effective 3 May 2020.
In view of this, the bank’s staff involved in providing essential services at BMMB’s Headquarters and the Jalan Melaka Branch will return to work at their respective premises. Meanwhile, most of the staff employed at the two locations will continue to work from home in line with measures to counter the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.
