JERUSALEM, Apr 28 (NNN-MA’AN) – The number of COVID-19 cases in Israel has risen to 15,555, after 112 new patients were diagnosed on Monday, the state’s Ministry of Health said.
Also, three COVID-19 patients died on Monday, bringing the death toll of the pandemic in Israel to 204.
The number of patients in serious condition decreased by seven to 126, out of 362 patients currently hospitalised.
The number of new recoveries in Israel on Monday reached 469, bringing the tally of recoveries to 7,200.
Following the recent reassuring numbers, Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, decided to gradually reopen the national education system, starting from May 3.
In the first phase, activity in kindergartens and in first to third grade school classes will be resumed.
Classes will be held in small groups, while distancing and hygiene rules among children will be maintained.– NNN-MA’AN
