COVID-19 Cases In UAE Surpass 6,000

DUBAI, Apr 18 (NNN-WAM) – The United Arab Emirates (UAE), on Friday, announced 477 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total confirmed cases in the country to 6,302.

UAE’s Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP), said in a statement, the new cases include many nationalities. All were in a stable condition and receiving medical treatment.

Meanwhile, the MoHAP said that, 93 more patients made full recovery from the virus, taking the tally of the UAE’s recoveries to 1,188.

The ministry also confirmed two more deaths from COVID-19, pushing the country’s death toll to 37.

The UAE was the first among the Gulf countries to report COVID-19 cases.– NNN-WAM
