DOHA, Apr 16 (NNN-QNA) – Qatar’s Health Ministry, on Wednesday, reported 283 new cases of COVID-19, raising the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 3,711.
Thirty-three patients have recovered, bringing the total number of recoveries in the country to 406, while the number of deaths remains at seven, the official health ministry’s daily statement said.
Some of the new cases are related to contact with existing cases, among citizens and residents, and a number of the new cases are among migrant workers.
A total of 54,484 people have undergone lab tests for the virus, in the country.– NNN-QNA
