Iran Mounts Guided Warheads On Long-Range Missiles: Report

TEHRAN, Iran, Feb 4 (NNN-IRNA) – Iran has mounted guided warheads, on its “most destructive” and long-range Khorramshahr missiles, semi-official Fars news agency reported, on Sunday.

The new generation of missiles, with guided warheads, is named Khorramshahr-2, which can be remotely controlled to hit any target.

Khorramshahr-2 missile is able to carry warheads with the weight of nearly 2 tonnes, according to the report.

Khorramshahr-class ballistic missiles have a range of 2,000 km and are capable of carrying multiple warheads.– NNN-IRNA
