Palestine Reports 57 Recoveries From COVID-19

RAMALLAH, Palestine, Apr 12 (NNN-WAFA) – Palestine, on Saturday evening, announced that, 11 more patients have recovered from the COVID-19, bringing the total number of recoveries in Palestinian territories to 57.

Officials from the Health Ministry said that, the new recovered cases were allowed to return to their homes, after quarantine in different parts of the West Bank, for over two weeks.

Among the recovered cases, 13 are from the Gaza Strip, while the rest are from the West Bank.

Ibrahim Milhem, Palestinian government spokesperson, said earlier on Saturday that, the total number of confirmed cases of the COVID-19 in Palestine has reached 268, while 1,750 are in state-run quarantine centres and over 12,000 others are under home quarantine.

Since the outbreak of COVID-19, two Palestinians have died from the disease, including a woman in her 60’s and a man in his 40’s, who suffered from chronic diseases before he contracted the virus.– NNN-WAFA
