Beirut, Feb 3 (NNN- PRENSA LATINA) The Lebanese television channel Al Jadeed was attacked on Saturday with a grenade launched from a moving car that left a balance of material damage, but no deaths or injuries.
The action occurred at 03:45 local time, when from an unidentified vehicle passing in front of the TV station’s main headquarters, one of the attackers threw a hand grenade.
Images posted on Al Jadeed’s website show broken car windows and damage to one of the building’s outer columns.
The security services took precautionary measures and opened an investigation.
