Tehran, Feb 3 (NNN- PRENSA LATINA) The Iranian Minister of Defense, Amir Hatami, presented on Saturday the Hoveizeh missile, manufactured by the national industry, capable of reaching targets 1,350 kilometers away.
The unveiling of the missile took place at the Eghtedar 40 military and defense exhibition, on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the triumph of the Islamic Revolution.
In presenting the rocket, Hatami considered the Hoveizeh a symbol of trust and an important defense achievement that represents the climax of global technological advancement.
According to the senior official, this confirms the determination and will of the Iranian people in the field of defense, and the response to any threat.
The Hoveizeh is a ground-to-ground missile designed and manufactured by Iran’s Aerospace Industries Organization, said the general, belonging to the Soumar rocket cruise family that were released in 2015.
