NEW DELHI, Apr 4 (NNN-PTI) – As many as 62 people have died, after being infected by the COVID-19 across the country, the government said today.
The number of confirmed cases is now 2,547, with 478 new cases detected in the past 24 hours.
The Centre has identified 13 COVID-19 hot-spots across the country, and COVID-19 cases have been reported from 211 districts.
A total of 163 people have been discharged from hospitals, after receiving treatment.
The break up of COVID-19 cases in states are as follows:
Mumbai 179, Bengaluru 52, Pune 49, Hyderabad 44, Kasargod 115, Kannur 49, Uttar Pradesh 45, Ahmedabad 33, Jaipur 32, Maharashtra 339, Tamil Nadu 309 and Kerala 286, with Delhi 219 and Rajasthan 133.– NNN-PTI
