MOSCOW, Mar 25 (NNN-TASS) – Two Russian Tu-95MS strategic bombers, have carried out scheduled flights over the Sea of Japan and the northwestern part of the Pacific Ocean, the Russian Defence Ministry said Tuesday.
The flights lasted more than nine hours, and were operated in strict compliance with international regulations, it said.
At certain stages of the mission, the Russian planes were escorted by Japanese F-2 fighters, it added.– NNN-TASS
