Palestine Condemns U.S. State Department’s Description Of East Jerusalem Palestinians

RAMALLAH, Mar 12 (NNN-WAFA) – The Palestinians condemned the U.S. State Department’s new description of Palestinian citizens who live in East Jerusalem as, “non-Israeli residents.”

Nabil Abu Rudeineh, spokesman of the Palestinian Presidency, said in an official press statement that, Palestine condemns the U.S. State Department’s report, which defined the Palestinians in Jerusalem as “non-Israeli residents.”

“Any attempt to falsify history and truth, will never give legitimacy to anybody, and such definitions will not change the history of the Palestinian Jerusalemites,” said Abu Rudeineh.

He added that, the report “is another failed attempt by the American administration, to implement its Deal of the Century, which is rejected by the Palestinians, the Arabs and the international community.”

“It’s not allowed to change the rules of the international law and legitimate resolutions, which all consider the eastern part of Jerusalem a Palestinian territory that Israel had occupied in 1967.”– NNN-WAFA
