RIYADH, Mar 12 (NNN-SPA) – Saudi Arabia announced on Wednesday, it closed down movie theatres “until further notice,” to prevent the outbreak of COVID-19.
The decision was part of steps the kingdom is taking, to protect the safety of citizens.
Meanwhile, the health ministry announced, on Wednesday, through its Twitter account that, a new COVID-19 case was registered.
The case is of an Egyptian traveller, who arrived from the United States, in transit to Egypt.
This brought the total number of cases in the kingdom to 21.
The ministry also revealed in a statement on Wednesday, the first recovery among infected persons. The case is of a citizen under medical isolation, in the Qatif Central Hospital, in the Eastern Region.– NNN-SPA
