Singapore, Jan 31 (NNN) – Two educational institutions here have respectively signed MoU with ST Logistics as part of plans to upskill Singapore’s logistics workforce, in the face of increased automation and digitalisation in the supply chain and logistics sector.

The signing by the two institutions, namely NTUC LearningHub and
and School of Continuing and Lifelong Education National University of
Singapore (NUS), with ST Logistics was witnessed by Dr Koh Poh Koon, Singapore’s Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Trade and Industry.

The MoU between NTUC LearningHub and ST Logistics signifies the start of skills-upgrading efforts between the two entities, a statement issued on behalf of ST Logistics said on Thursday.

The MoU with NUS will provide training opportunities for working adults, providing new knowledge, skills, and certification through technology courses, specialist certificates, bachelor programmes, and Masters programmes. As part of the Logistics Industry SkillsFuture framework, the courses are collaboratively designed by various stakeholders in Singapore’s logistics industry.
