Lebanese Minister Fahmi Arrives In Tunisia To Take Part In The Arab Interior Ministers Conference

TUNISIA, Mar 1 (NNN-TAP) – Lebanese Minister of Interior and Municipalities, Mohammad Fahmi, arrived in Tunisia this afternoon, on an official visit, during which he will participate in the 37th Arab Interior Ministers Conference, which will be held at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers.

Fahmi is accompanied by the Director-General of Internal Security, Major General Imad Othman.

Welcoming them at the airport was Tunisian Interior Minister, Hisham El Mechishi; Secretary General of the Arab Interior Ministers Council, Mohamed bin Ali Koman; and Lebanon’s Ambassador to Tunisia, Tony Franjieh.

Fahmi will deliver Lebanon’s speech at the conference, which opens its works today (Sunday), at the Secretariat headquarters, and will also hold joint talks with his Tunisian and Arab counterparts, on ways to develop security coordination and various dossiers of mutual interest.– NNN-TAP
