ULAN BATOR, Feb 15 (NNN-MONGOLIA WEB) – Mongolian President, Khaltmaa Battulga, on Friday, appointed Ulziikhuu Shijir, as his new chief of staff.
Prior to his appointment, Shijir served as general secretary of Mongolian Football Federation.
Shijir replaced Zandaakhuu Enkhbold, who had recently submitted his resignation, citing his need to focus on his campaign for parliamentary elections.
Enkhbold is a member of Mongolia’s opposition Democratic Party.
The campaign for parliamentary elections in Mongolia will officially start on June 2, according to the country’s election commission.– NNN-MONGOLIA WEB
