HEBRON, Palestine, Feb 3 (NNN-WAFA) – Dozens of Palestinians suffocated yesterday evening, during the continuous confrontations that broke out, since early morning, in the city of Hebron, the southern occupied West Bank.
Israeli forces attacked Palestinians, who rallied in protest against the US-touted Mideast peace plan, during which, the Israeli forces heavily fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards protesters who responded by throwing stones at them. Dozens suffocated due to gas inhalation.
A WAFA cameraman was also injured in the clashes and treated at the scene.
The Israeli Forces forced a number of shops to close, while others closed them due to the intensity of tear gas fumes, fired by the forces.– NNN-WAFA
