RIYADH, Saudi Arabia, Dec 23 (NNN-SPA) – Saudi Arabia and the General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), signed, on Sunday, an agreement for the GCC’s unified military command headquarters in Riyadh.
Saudi Foreign Minister, Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, and GCC Secretary-General, Abdullateef Al Zayani, signed the agreement.
The command was part of the decisions taken, during the 34th Gulf summit held in Kuwait in 2013.
It aimed to protect regional stability and promote integration among the GCC member countries.– NNN-SPA
