AMMAN, Jordan, Dec 23 (NNN-PETRA) – Jordan and Japan, on Sunday, discussed ways to boost cooperation in economic and defence fields, and efforts in the war against terrorism.
The talks in Amman, between Jordanian Foreign Minister, Ayman Safadi, and his visiting Japanese counterpart, Keisuke Suzuki, also covered regional and international developments, and efforts aimed at reaching solutions to the Middle East crises, according to a ministry statement.
Safadi told the Japanese official about the Jordanian government’s programmes, aimed at improving economic performance and growth rates.
For his part, Suzuki hailed Jordan’s role in maintaining peace and stability in the region and its support for Syrian refugees.– NNN-PETRA
