AMMAN, Dec 17 (NNN-PETRA) – Jordan announces that, it secured a grant worth 300 million U.S. dollars, from the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The grant is through efforts spearheaded by King Abdullah II of Jordan, whose top priority is supporting limited-income families and improving citizens’ living standards.
The grant embodies the deep-rooted, brotherly ties between the two countries and peoples.
Sources said, the UAE grant will be allocated for providing medical coverage for uninsured citizens, and patients with chronic diseases, and for limited-income families, benefiting from the National Aid Fund, to cover their basic needs.
