BEIRUT, Lebanon, Dec 11 (NNN-NNA) – Lebanon, on Tuesday, received 16 containers of ammunition of different calibres from the United States, it was reported.
The ammunition, which is part of the American aid programme for the Lebanese army, was received through the Port of Beirut.
The United States is the biggest provider of military aid to Lebanon, as the Lebanese army has received over 1.5 billion U.S. dollars’ worth of military aid from successive U.S. governments, since the 2006 war with Israel.– NNN-NNA
