ANKARA, Dec 4 (NNN-ANADOLU) – Turkey repatriated five foreign terrorists to Germany, on Tuesday, Turkish Interior Ministry said, in a statement.
“Extradition of foreign fighters to their home countries continues,” said the statement.
The five German nationals were sent back to their country of origin, as part of the continued efforts, to send back foreign fighters detained in Turkey, the ministry added.
The statement declined to reveal details about the German fighters, but Ankara vowed earlier that, it would repatriate foreign fighters of the terror group Daesh, to their countries of origin.
Turkey has killed 3,500 Daesh terrorists and detained 5,500 others, in its anti-terror operations, at home and abroad, in recent years.– NNN-ANADOLU
