KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 3 (NNN-BERNAMA) — Members of the China Entrepreneurs Association in Malaysia (PUCM) will get to keep tabs on happenings in Malaysia, including developments in its economy and business, thanks to today’s signing of a subscription agreement with the Malaysian National News Agency (Bernama).
The deal pertains to the subscription of Bernama’s Newslink5 offering that provides electronic real-time news on Malaysian and global events.
It was inked by PUCM president Datuk Keith Li and Bernama chairman Datuk Seri Azman Ujang.
Li was hopeful that through the agreement, China’s entrepreneurs will better understand Malaysia’s business and investment landscape.
“With this agreement we can share Malaysia’s business news and policies with China investors and boost their confidence to come here and invest,” he said after the signing at Wisma Bernama here.
Meanwhile, Azman said through the agreement, more news could be channeled to China and this would indirectly enhance trade and investment relations between the two countries.
Li said that PUCM will continue to be a platform for strengthening bilateral trade relations between China and Malaysia.
Association members, he said, are keen to share, among others, expertise in areas such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and help bolster Malaysia’s Fourth Industrial Revolution (Industry 4.0) undertakings.
“We want to bring smart technology here and help boost the Malaysian economy,” he said.
Li further said that PUCM will organise the China Smart Industrial Exhibition here on Dec 14 and 15.
