ULAN BATOR, Dec 2 (NNN-MONGOLIAWEB) – A man was killed, after his truck fell into the frozen Dayan Lake, in western Mongolia on Sunday morning, the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) said, Monday (today).
“A total of 62 local rescuers and residents retrieved the body of the 25-year-old driver from the lake, on Sunday evening,” NEMA said, warning caution, when driving on frozen lakes.
Dayan Lake is located in Sagsai district, of the western Bayan-Ulgii Province, with the average depth being 2.3 metres, and the maximum depth of four metres.– NNN-MONGOLIAWEB
