ANKARA, Turkey, Dec 2 (NNN-ANADOLU) – Turkey repatriated an Irish citizen, a suspect of the Daesh group, to her home on Sunday, the Turkish interior ministry said, in a written statement.
“An Irish foreign terrorist fighter has been deported from Turkey,” said the ministry, noting that, Ankara would continue repatriation of Daesh suspects.
On Nov 11, Turkey commenced deporting Daesh-linked foreign nationals held in the country, saying, it will send thousands of captured Daesh militants, mostly from Europe, back to their countries, even if their citizenship were cancelled.– NNN-ANADOLU
