DAMASCUS, Dec 1 (NNN-SANA) – As many as 13 civilians were killed and wounded, in an explosion that rocked a rebel-held area in northern Raqqa province, a war monitor reported.
The explosion was caused by a car bomb, that went off in the village of Ayn al-Arous, in the northern countryside of Raqqa province, where Turkish forces and Turkey-backed rebels are located.
The car bomb left property damage in the area.
Meanwhile, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights also reported the explosion, saying, it was a powerful blast that left many casualties and property losses.
The UK-based watchdog group said, a state of lawlessness is prevailing, in areas controlled by the Turkey-backed rebels in northern Syria.
On Oct 9, Turkey and Turkey-backed rebels launched a wide-scale offensive on Kurdish forces in northern Syria, stripping the Kurdish militia of areas on the borderline between both countries.– NNN-SANA
