KABUL, Nov 23 (NNN-AGENCIES) – Ten Daesh militants surrendered to Afghan forces, during a cleanup operation in the country’s eastern province of Nangarhar, the command of special forces said, today.
The operation was conducted late on Friday in the militancy affecting Achin district of Nangarhar, where 10 more desperate Daesh militants have laid down their arms and surrendered to Afghan Special Forces, Afghan National Army Special Operations Corps (ANASOC) said in a statement.
“The remaining Daesh members have no choice but to surrender or be killed by Afghan National Defence and Security Forces,” the statement added.
More than 600 Daesh fighters and their families, including women and children, have surrendered to security forces in Achin within the past weeks, amid increasing military operations.– NNN-AGENCIES
