NEW DELHI, Nov 16 (NNN-PTI) – At least four people died, in a boiler blast, in India’s eastern state of Bihar on Saturday (today), confirmed a local police officer.
There was a boiler blast inside a building, in the Sugauli area of Motihari district, the police officer said, adding, relief and rescue work is still going on, at the site of the blast.
According to him, six injured persons were rescued and admitted to a nearby hospital.
Meanwhile, according to media reports, the boiler blast took place inside a kitchen, of a non-government organisation, while food was being prepared.
TV footage showed the blast was so powerful that the roof of the building went off.
