Egyptian President Starts Two-Day Visit To UAE

DUBAI, Nov 14 (NNN-WAM) – Egyptian President, Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi, started a two-day visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), his second in less than two years, to discuss a host of issues of mutual interest.

Al-Sisi is expected to meet with Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to review strong relations and means to develop them in various fields.

The meeting will also cover the latest developments in the region and the world.

The Crown Prince said that the UAE sees “consolidating the brotherly relations with Egypt” as a priority.

“The UAE’s support for Egypt has been a mainstay of the country’s foreign policy, since the time of the late former president,” he noted.

Egypt and the UAE maintained close ties over the recent years by working together on issues, such as, the war on terror, especially since al-Sisi’s last visit to the UAE in Feb, 2018.

In Apr, 2018, the UAE and Egypt launched a strategic partnership, to develop performance of the Egyptian government and help promote Egypt’s Vision 2030.– NNN-WAM
