KUWAIT, Nov 13 (NNN-KUNA) – Kuwait will further strengthen partnership between the public and private sectors of the country, a Kuwaiti official said.
The announcement was made by Khaled Mahdi, secretary-general of the Supreme Council for Planning and Development, during a workshop on the public and private partnership, hosted by the Kuwaiti institution.
Strengthening this partnership comes within the policies of Kuwait’s development plan and has recently witnessed great successes, said Mahdi.
The development plan is in accordance with the vision to transform Kuwait into a financial and commercial centre, he noted, highlighting transformation of government economic role from the operator to the regulator and observer.
The workshop will introduce partnership projects between the public and private sectors, with the participation of 27 government entities.– NNN-KUNA
