Turkey Captures Al-Baghdadi’s Wife, Sister In Syria

ANKARA, Turkey, Nov 7 (NNN-ANADOLU) – Turkey has captured the wife of the dead leader of the Daesh group, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, in Syria, Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, said Wednesday.

“I’m declaring today (yesterday), for the first time, that we have also captured al-Baghdadi’s wife,” Erdogan said, at a ceremony.

Turkey captured al-Baghdadi’s sister and her husband in Syria, on Monday, the Turkish interior minister said, Tuesday.

Al-Baghdadi was killed in a late-night U.S.-led airstrike, in a compound near the village of Barisha, in northwestern Syria on Oct 26.– NNN-ANADOLU
