ISTANBUL, Nov 7 (NNN-ANADOLU) – Chinese and Turkish companies, signed in Istanbul, strategic cooperation agreements on agricultural products, including exporting quality Turkish nuts, fruits and featured produce to China.
Under the agreements, the companies shall have deep cooperation on such areas as high-efficiency, recycling and smart agriculture, processing of featured agricultural products, featured tourism and services, ecological environment governance, intelligent logistics, international e-commerce and financing.
The deals were inked among the Turkish branch of J.S. Machine International, a wholly-owned subsidiary of J.S. Corrugating Machinery Co., Ltd, which is located in Hubei Province, China’s leading brand for snacks, BESTORE and three Turkish companies, specialising in agricultural products.
Li Jian, president of J.S. Corrugating Machinery Co., Ltd, said, by cooperating with BESTORE, his company aims to introduce Turkey’s quality nuts, fruits and featured agricultural products to China, and that he believes the two countries will have deeper cooperation in the industrial and agricultural sectors.
“Seeing products of three Turkish companies in China is very pleasing,” said Ferhan Ademhan, from the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce.
“It is an indication that China is not a remote country for us. I believe soon, we’ll sign more agreements, with the involvement of more companies,” Ademhan added.
Addressing the signing ceremony, Wan Yong, vice governor of Hubei Province, suggested that Turkish and Chinese companies take advantage of their geographical advantages, to promote bilateral cooperation into countries along the Belt and Road, Eurasian regions, and other parts of China, beyond Hubei.– NNN-ANADOLU
