ADEN, Yemen, Nov 7 (NNN-SABA) – Eight people were killed on Wednesday (yesterday), when a pickup truck and a passenger bus collided in Yemen’s central province of al-Bayda.
Several others were critically injured and shifted instantly to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Residents said, the deadly accident occurred along al-Bayda’s main road.
Yemen’s main roads and highways were badly affected, by years-long military conflict and the lack of maintenance.
Horrific accidents are frequently reported in various areas of the war-ravaged Arab country.– NNN-SABA
