KUWAIT, Nov 7 (NNN-XINHUA) – Kuwait Anti-Corruption Authority, held on Wednesday, a workshop on the provisions of financial disclosure.
During his speech, the authority’s executive, Saleh Al-Taneeb, said that, the workshop aims at raising awareness about the provisions of financial disclosure within the legally prescribed dates.
The workshop was held due to the imminent period of updating of financial disclosure for approximately 13,000 citizens starting from mid-Nov, 2019, he added.
The committee for examining financial disclosure reports, shall check whether there are illegal earnings or not, he noted.
The workshop also included a presentation on Anti-Corruption Authority’s law and the goals and priorities of Kuwaiti anti-corruption strategy, he explained.– NNN-XINHUA
