Collaboration with the Department of Environment on Environmental Debate 2019
KUALA NERUS, Nov 4 (Bernama) — PETRONAS in collaboration with the Department of Environment (DOE) organised the 26th Environmental Debate recently in conjunction with the National Environment Day 2019. The debate took place from 1-3 November 2019 at the Sultan Zainal Abidin University (UNISZA), Terengganu.
A total of 28 higher learning institutions nationwide competed to win a grand prize of RM8,000. The prize-giving ceremony was officiated by the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Energy, Science, Technology, Environment and Climate Change (MESTECC), Isnaraissah Munirah Majilis. Also present were DOE Director-General, Norlin Jaafar, UNISZA Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dato’ Dr Hassan Basri and PETRONAS Head of Environment & Social Performance, Health, Safety, Security and Environment Division, Ungku Haslina Ungku M Tahir.
