KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 31 (NNN-BERNAMA) – The Korea Communications Commission (KCC) headed by its Standing Commissioner Pyo Chul-Soo paid a courtesy visit to the Malaysian National News Agency (BERNAMA) headquarters, here, today.
The KCC delegation also included Executive Assistant to the commissioner Kim Jeong Soo, Deputy Director Kang Yu Shin, and Assistant Director Park Hyun Nam, as well as researcher Park Young Wook and Korean-English interpreter Kim Jieun Jean.
Pyo and his delegation were greeted by Bernama’s Chairman Datuk Seri Azman Ujang, Editor-in-Chief Datuk Mokhtar Hussain, Deputy Editor-in-Chief (News) Abdul Rahman Ahmad and Deputy Editor-in-Chief (Business and Finance) Khairdzir Yunos, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Bernama Radio Azlan Idris, and Acting Head of Strategic Planning Nur-ul Afida Kamaludin, followed by a briefing on the news agency’s operations as well as its products and services.
The meeting also discussed the rise of new media and its content policies as well as measures for cooperation on Korean Wave (Hallyu) contents.
