Damascus, Oct 28 (NNN-SANA) – President Bashar al-Assad, on Sunday, referred the bill on the state general budget for the 2020 fiscal year, to the People’s Assembly.
The bill, which was discussed by the Cabinet on Oct 20, set the budget at SYP 4,000 billion, with an increase of SYP 118 billion compared to the 2019 budget.
The budget is distributed as follows: SYP 15 billion for the Social Support Fund, SYP 10 billion for Agricultural Production Support Fund, SYP 337 billion for the funding support and oil derivatives and SYP 83 billion for supporting the economic institutions, which have been affected by terrorism.– NNN-SANA
