Mongolia Issues Postal Stamp Marking Anniversary Of Ties With China

ULAN BATOR, Oct 17 (NNN-MONGOLIA WEB) – The Mongol Post issued a stamp to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and Mongolia.

Mongolia’s Deputy Prime Minister, Ulziisaikhan Enkhtuvshin and Chinese Ambassador to Mongolia, Xing Haiming, attended the launching ceremony held at the State House of Mongolia on Wednesday.

Seventy years ago today Mongolia and China formed diplomatic ties.

Among the images on the stamp are the national flags of both Mongolia and China, as well as, two Mongolian and two Chinese children, each in their own national costumes.

“China will unswervingly adhere to the policy of being a good neighbour and partner. We will cooperate with the Mongolian side to promote the links of China’s Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and Mongolia’s Development Road Initiative, to enhance the well-being of our peoples,” Xing said, when addressing the launching.

The ambassador said, the postal stamp shows Mongolia’s great respect for the Chinese people.

For his part, Enkhtuvshin said, “Issuing the stamp is part of the celebrations of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between our two countries.”

Moreover, he expressed confidence that the stamp, also commemorative of the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two neighbours, will prove valuable for stamp collectors.– NNN-MONGOLIA WEB
