NAIROBI, Oct 5 (NNN-AGENCIES) — At least 13 people have been killed and others injured after a bus collided with a truck in a town near the lakeside city of Kisumu.
The accident happened on Thursday night in Awasi town, 42km away from Kisumu.
The bus was heading to the capital city, Nairobi.
The regional police head Benson Maweu said the driver of the bus tried to overtake a tractor and crashed into the oncoming truck.
