BANGKOK, Thailand, Sept 29 (NNN-TNA) – A total of 13 youngsters were killed, and four others injured, when a pickup truck they were on overturned, in Bangkok’s outlying area on Sunday night, police said.
The 13 deceased and four injured youngsters were from Sisaket Technical College. The truck they were travelling in, sharply overturned and hit a roadside power pole, on King Keo road, in Bang Phli district of Samut Prakarn province, according to deputy National Police Spokesman, Pol. Col. Krissana Pattanacharoen.
The road accident, which occurred at about 00:30 a.m. local time, Sunday, instantly killed 12 of the passengers while the other one was pronounced dead, at a nearby hospital, Krissana said.– NNN-TNA
