TEHRAN, Iran, Sept 26 (NNN-TASNIM) – At least five people were killed and scores of others were injured, in a passenger train derailment, in the southeast of Iran on Wednesday, state TV reported.
The incident took place near Zahedan city, the capital of Sistan and Baluchestan province, bordering Pakistan.
In the incident, 92 other passengers were also injured, according to the report.
The train, with 250 passengers, was travelling from Zahedan to the Iranian capital, Tehran.– NNN-TASNIM
