Fire-Crackers Factory Blast Claims Six Lives In North India

NEW DELHI, Sept 22 (NNN-PTI) – At least six people died and eight others injured, when a powerful blast took place in a fire-crackers manufacturing factory, in India’s northern state of Uttar Pradesh, on Saturday.

The fire-cracker factory is located in the state’s Etah district.

Speaking to the media, a senior doctor at the local government hospital said, “Six persons died in the blast. Eight persons were injured, out of whom three have been admitted to our hospital, and five of the rest referred to another district’s hospital.”
