ANKARA, Turkey, Sept 21 (NNN-ANADOLU) – The Turkish court sentenced 14 people to jail terms on Friday, over their links to, and involvement with, the extremist Daesh group.
Last week, the Turkish authorities arrested 40 people, suspected of links to the Daesh financial network, after a nine-month investigation.
Among them, 14 were sent to prison, 23 were released on parole, while three others were acquitted.
The Turkish security forces have been conducting nationwide campaign, to counter the group and thwart its attack attempts.– NNN-ANADOLU
