Zimbabwe: Pres Mnangagwa thanks Singapore for taking good care of Mugabe


HARARE, Sept 8 (NNN-SABC) — Zimbabwean President Emmerson Mnangagwa
 has thanked the Singaporean government, its medical teams and its people for taking good care of President Robert Mugabe.

Mugabe died in Singapore on Friday morning at the age of 95.

Addressing the nation, Mnangagwa said: “We are most grateful to the team of medical experts and support staff which cared for him with such great diligence, dedication and compassion. They did all they could up to the very end.”

Mnangagwa has declared three days of mourning leading up to the burial of the former President. — NNN-SABC
