DAMASCUS, Sept 8 (NNN-SANA) – The Syrian air defences intercepted rebels’ drone attack on army positions in central Syria, on Saturday.
The attack was intercepted on Friday night, over the al-Ghab Plains, in the countryside of the central province of Hama.
The army’s defences destroyed all three drones, which were all outfitted with weapons.
The rebels in Idlib province, in northwestern Syria, are behind the drones’ attack, the report said.
This comes as Idlib is observing a cease-fire that was announced a week ago by the Syrian army.– NNN-SANA
