Turkey’s Erdogan Vows Not To Expel Refugees

ANKARA, Sept 4 (NNN-ANADOLU) – Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, said on Tuesday that, his country will not close its doors to refugees.

“Turkey is not closing its doors to refugees, but we will be glad, if we can establish a safe zone in Syria,” said Erdogan, at the press conference, after a meeting with Czech Prime Minister, Andrej Babis, at the presidential complex in Ankara.

Erdogan added that, Syria’s Idlib is gradually being devastated, like the Syrian war-torn city of Aleppo.

For his part, Babis hailed bilateral trade relations with Turkey, expecting an increase in trade volume.

Babis arrived in Turkey on Monday for a three-day visit.– NNN-ANADOLU
