BEIRUT, Lebanon, Aug 22 (NNN-NNA) – Russian Ambassador to Lebanon, Alexander Zasypkin, emphasised, on Wednesday, the need to activate political dialogue and cooperation between Russia and Lebanon.
“We should increase cooperation between the two countries, to find peaceful solutions to political conflicts in this region, and secure the return of refugees to their homeland,” Zasypkin was quoted as saying, during his meeting with Lebanese Foreign Minister, Gebran Bassil.
The ambassador also reiterated Russia’s stance, of supporting Lebanon’s stability and security, as well as, its capability of solving its internal issues without any foreign interference.– NNN-NNA
