SANA’A Yemen, Aug 20 (NNN-AGENCIES) – The Arab Coalition in Yemen on Monday launched attacks on military targets in the capital Sanaa and the northern province of Saada, Saudi state press reported.

Civilians have been urged to stay away from military areas in the capital city of Sanaa, Saudi state TV said.

Sanaa is under control of the Iran-backed Houthi rebels who are fighting the internationally recognised government of President Abdrabu Mansur Hadi.

The coalition launched five air strikes targeted gatherings of the Houthi militia in Ktaf district, in eastern Sadaa province, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

The raids hit combat operations rooms for the militia in the same district.

The offensive resulted in the killing and wounding a number of Houthi terrorist militia elements and destroyed combat operating rooms, the agency said.
