YANGON, Myanmar, Aug 15 (NNN-MYANMARTIMES) -Khin Ohmar Myint was crowned Miss Myanmar International 2019, which was held in Yangon late on Wednesday (last night).
Khin Ohmar Myint, 23, also grabbed the title of Miss Congeniality.
Meanwhile, Myo Thiri Ko and Ya Mone earned the 1st and 2nd runner-up titles, respectively.
“Beauty pageants, like Miss Myanmar International, have not only been producing outstanding and talented Myanmar representative beauty queens, but also helping in promoting the country’s tourism sector development,” U Khin Aung Htun, vice chairman of Myanmar Tourism Federation, said, at the grand final event of the beauty pageant.
A total of 20 beauty candidates from the country’s states and regions took part in Wednesday’s pageant.
Just-crowned Khin Ohmar Myint will be a contestant in the upcoming Miss International 2019, to be held in Tokyo, Japan, in Nov this year.– NNN-MYANMARTIMES
