ALOR SETAR, July 27 (Bernama) — Agrobank today organised a fun run in conjunction with its 50th anniversary this year. 1,000 runners took part in the 5 km run with scenic view of paddy fields. It was a day full of fun, friendship and sportsmanship at Agrobank 50 Years Fun Run. It was a day of sporting triumph for the runners, from diverse background to run across paddy field routes with friends and family until the finish line.
At 7.45 am, the runners were flagged off by YB Tuan Asmirul Anuar, the State Exco for Sports and Youth representing the Kedah Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mukhriz Tun Mahathir together with YB Tuan Azman Nasrudin, State Exco for Agriculture and Agro-based Industry, Tan Sri Mohamad Zabidi Zainal, Chairman of Agrobank and Dato’ Mohd Sallehhuddin bin Hassan, the Secretary General for the Ministry of Agriculture and Agro-based Industry.
